The small steps we take
The Scholarship Program
The future lies in the hands of the younger generation, and they deserve a fair chance at education - one that is not limited by economic constraints. To achieve this, we partnered with Vidya Poshak, a grassroots-level organisation that has been on a mission to make education accessible to children residing in the rural parts of Karnataka for the last 20 years.
We recently marked the 5th year of our CSR partnership with Vidya Poshak. In this journey of contributing towards equal education, we supported the education of 535 students. These students have been awarded scholarships through the Nurture Merit program for Bachelor's degrees and the Nurture Merit Excel program for Medical and Engineering degrees. Over the years, the program has evolved from being only a scholarship program to a program where skill-development training and excursion trips are conducted to enhance students' skill sets.

Economic Inclusion Program
In the remote corners of India, many communities remain socially and economically isolated with limited livelihood opportunities. We partnered with Nudge Lifeskills Foundation for their 'Economic Inclusion Program with a mission to empower the particularly vulnerable tribal groups (PVTG). We aim to create sustainable livelihoods for 1,400 women from rural communities in Jharkhand and West Bengal.
Jharkhand
400 women from rural communities in the Latehar and Lohardaga districts of Jharkhand have entered the program. The households are shortlisted based on different criteria and provided with grants for consumption and livelihood. Goatery, piggery, and the raising of kitchen gardens have been the chosen livelihood activities for women in the selected households. The women will also be trained in the practical implementation of livelihood activities, income savings, and village marketplaces.

West Bengal
In 2023, the program was expanded to support 1,000 women-led households in the Jhargram and Nayagram districts of West Bengal. This is implemented in collaboration with the West Bengal State Rural Livelihood Mission. The key activities undertaken so far include a baseline survey of selected households, self-help group enrolment, and facilitating bank account openings. Implementation Partner has recently initiated kitchen garden training for women. Following thorough research, they have chosen goatery and piggery as additional livelihood activities.
Healthcare Incubation Program
We collaborated with NSRCEL, Incubation Centre under IIM Bangalore to support healthcare startups and innovators bring their ideas to life through the Healthcare Incubation Program. The major goal of this initiative is to transform a healthcare innovator from the founder of an idea to the founder of a venture and contribute towards healthcare sector.
