MIT COVID19 Challenge – India Turning The Tide: Calling Upon The Broader Community To Take Action On COVID-19 Crisis
The COVID-19 pandemic has confronted India with the most serious multi-dimensional crisis in its history. As humanity grapples with the new enemy, the coronavirus continues to extend its fatality across platforms and communities. It is undoubtedly, one of the deadliest challenges the human race has ever faced, but now it’s time to fight back and take on COVID-19!
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology will host India Turning the Tide Challenge, the third in a series of MIT-led hackathons designed to create solutions to address those critical needs during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. DailyRounds is a proud partner for the MIT COVID-19 Challenge, a series of virtual hackathons aimed at empowering YOU to take action on the COVID-19 crisis.
During the MIT India Turning the Tide Challenge, scheduled from August 28-30, 2020, teams from around the world—drawing from universities, industry, government, and NGOs, among others—will help create solutions to address the most critical unmet needs caused by the COVID-19 outbreak across the country. The problem statements are built around the most pressing issues faced by many in India – Supporting the Underserved, Reviving the Informal Economy, Strengthening Healthcare Systems, and Combating Misinformation & Fraud.
Besides protecting us and the people around, we need the great minds in the healthcare sector to build upon our knowledge of COVID-19 and come up with innovative solutions to the crisis that’s haunting the entire humanity!
